Find out more about  Chorlton Community Garden

Connecting People Caring for Nature

Welcome to the Green Chorlton Hub, a place for environmental inspiration and collaboration online and in real life for Chorlton residents and visitors.
Our base is Chorlton Community Garden, a tiny green space barely 10 square metres, in the centre of our busy suburb on Manchester Road next to Chorlton Library.

Chorlton Community Garden is open again after years of the steering group undertaking community consultations, creating designs, applying for planning permission, seeking funding, finding tradespeople and also doing plenty of work ourselves: building raised beds, planting and running projects.
Do get in touch if you'd like to get involved, support us or even have information about green events added to our noticeboard on the community garden railings

With big thanks to funders who have included:
Awards for All and Together for Our Planet (both Community Lottery Funds), Manchester Council, Co-op Community Fund, Buzz, Ralph Brocklehurst Legacy Fund, Chorlton Makers Market, Canva and Octavius.

Thanks also to partners and supporters from Chorlton Civic Society (within which we function), Chorlton Plant Swap, Chorlton Library, Chorlton Community Land Trust, Chorlton Craftivists, Growing Manchester/Sow the City and Chorlton Arts Festival.
